There is nothing happen in this week. I went to the classes and did my homework like before. But recalled what happened in few weeks was too bad. It makes me crazy!
One day, I was doing my homework online in my dorm and it was raining outside. Suddenly, thunder rumbled and lighting flashed, after that my laptop that I bought several weeks ago cannot connect with the Internet. Next day, I took my computer to solution center, I hope someone can help me to found the problem and fix it. However, the people who work here cannot found the reason. Then, they let me went to computer service in the downstairs. In computer service, my mac can connect Internet with the cable. After that, I went to solution center again, and told them the computer connected Internet in computer service but it would not connected in my dorm and solution center. They suggested me to change another cable to connect Internet. I tried another cable, but it still didn’t work. Next day, I called Apple Company about this issue, they let me send mac to back and fix it.
How badly luck am I. I brought this new company just one month, and it need to sent back to repair. ☹

I read two editorials in Iowa State Daily this week. One of the editorials is called “Deep budget cut looming; prepare to make sacrifices”. The goals is the gerents have been forced to cut $60 million from their fiscal year 2010 budget, and budget reduction amounts to a $24.5 million cut for Iowa. For reduction 24.5 million cut for Iowa, Miles made seven recommendations to the institution heads, as means for making their new, lower budget. These recommendations are very efficiency for Iowa State. One of the recommendations is consider a tuition surcharge for the spring semester. Most specifically, it will raise tuition by more than 8%. This behavior will help the university make its budget more efficiently. However, to raise tuition is a bad news to all students.
Another one called: “ Inconsistencies continue to plague ISU alcohol policy”. Those evil cans of beer branded with collegiate color schemes that caused such a raucous back in September also raised a valid question: where should the line be drawn between university, college athletics and alcohol? In fact, Iowa State does a commendable job of keeping enough stadium staff, police officers and security guards around to make sure fans have a positive experience without getting out of control. But it is hard to decide where should be the line be draw between university, college athletics and alcohol, and people do not know they need alcohol or not to have a good time at Iowa State. It is a difficult thing to dissect. The NCAA doesn’t want to deal with alcohol, and neither does Iowa State. Thus, they don’t accomplished their goals, because it is hard to do.
